Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service, where we are proud to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that make a real difference to local school communities.
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated catering professional to take on a Mobile Catering Supervisor role, leading kitchen teams across the Alfreton and Matlock areas. This is a varied and rewarding position for someone who enjoys combining hands-on catering with leadership and organisation.
As a Mobile Catering Supervisor, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of school kitchens, including food preparation, cooking and service, as well as completing essential clerical tasks using our digital management systems. The safety and wellbeing of our customers are central to everything we do, so you will ensure that food hygiene, health and safety standards are consistently met and maintained.
Working within a school environment, you will also play an important role in creating positive lunchtime experiences, demonstrating a professional, friendly and child-appropriate approach at all times.
Due to the mobile nature of the role, a full driving licence and daily access to a car are essential.
You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or be able to demonstrate relevant experience, along with a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements and a Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
The starting salary within the grade is negotiable and will reflect your current salary, experience and qualifications.
