Classic Car Technician Vacancy

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Classic Car Technician to join their renowned workshop in Liss, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to specialise in vintage vehicle restoration within a dedicated environment. Duties of a Classic Car Technician:

- Carrying out detailed restoration work on a variety of classic and vintage vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems specific to classic cars
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
- Using imperial measurement tools and techniques to meet restoration specifications
- Maintaining a clean, organised workshop environment while adhering to health and safety protocols
- Assisting with vehicle troubleshooting, assembly, and finishing processes to ensure quality standards are achieved

Requirements of a Classic Car Technician:

- Proven experience as a classic car technician, restoration mechanic, or similar role within the motor trade
- Strong knowledge of imperial measurement systems and familiarity with vintage tools
- Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to various project requirements and experience levels, from junior to senior restorers
