Role Overview As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering design solutions, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and client requirements.
You’ll also take responsibility for coordinating design activities, supporting junior engineers, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

- Produce high-quality design documentation and drawings in line with project requirements
- Coordinate and plan design activities to meet programme deadlines
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated design delivery
- Support and check the work of other engineers where required
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and achieved
Requirements Qualifications & Experience
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline

- Experience working within highly regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, defence, oil & gas, or similar)
- Experience collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines
- Familiarity with cable calculation software such as Amtech (or equivalent)
- Experience using AutoCAD for design work
- Exposure to BIM-enabled projects is desirable
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload and support others
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and exceeding project expectations
