Description

At System C, our technology supports real clinical workflows and improves outcomes across health and care. We are looking for a Integrations Engineer to lead integration workstreams on deployment projects, working hands-on with HL7 messaging, interoperability, and interface engines in complex NHS environments.

This is a delivery-focused role with real ownership. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and technical stakeholders to design, build, and support integrations that matter.

What you will be doing

  • Leading integration delivery across customer deployment projects
  • Designing, developing, and supporting HL7 interfaces that integrate safely and reliably with healthcare systems
  • Working directly with NHS customers on requirements gathering, architecture decisions, testing, and go-live support
  • Supporting deployments, upgrades, and business-as-usual integrations across live environments
  • Managing and resolving integration incidents using ITIL best practices
  • Collaborating with clinical, technical, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with real-world workflows

What we are looking for

  • Experience working in or for the NHS, with a strong understanding of healthcare environments
  • Deep knowledge of HL7 messaging and healthcare system integrations
  • Hands-on experience with interface engines such as Rhapsody
  • Solid understanding of APIs, interoperability standards, and secure data exchange
  • A confident communicator who can work comfortably with customers and internal teams
  • A delivery-focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Why join System C

You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values integrity, ownership, and continuous improvement. We offer flexible benefits, opportunities for professional development, and an environment where people are trusted to do the right thing and grow their careers while making a meaningful difference to health and care services.
