CNC MachinistLocation: ElyPay Rate: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (DOE)Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm(Future shift: 5:00am – 1:30pm)Temp to Perm (via Workchain)Workchain is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy production team in Ely. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity offering long-term progression within a growing manufacturing environment.We are also looking for Assembly / Production Operatives & Glazier £13.00 – £14.00 per hour + quarterly 5% bonus Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)(Future shift: 5:00am – 1:30pm)Temp to Perm (via Workchain)Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set, and operate 3 & 5 axis CNC machines (Morbidelli / Alfa)Work to production specifications and complete paperwork accuratelyCarry out quality control checks and prepare materials before machiningMaintain machine uptime and minimise set-up timesEnsure work area is safe, clean, and organisedReport any delays or issues to the Team LeaderSkills & Experience2–3 years’ CNC machining experience (timber preferred)Knowledge of Xilog Plus / X-Door (advantageous)Forklift licence (desirable)Strong attention to detail and efficiencyPersonal AttributesReliable, team-focused, and enthusiasticCalm under pressure with good time managementWillingness to learn and developFlexible approach to working hoursWhat’s On OfferTemp to perm opportunityStable, long-term employmentOpportunity to develop skills and progress??
