Deputy Home Manager – Adult Care & Learning Disability
Up to £35,000 | Full-Time | Permanent

They are now looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their senior leadership team and play a key role in maintaining and building on the exceptional standard of care this home is known for.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above - essential
- Proven experience in a deputy management role within a care home setting - essential
- Experience within adult care, learning disability or a similar specialist setting - highly desirable
- A strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
- Confident knowledge of safeguarding procedures and referral pathways for adults at risk
- A genuine ability to engage with and understand the needs of service users
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to care and management

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the service
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences in order to deliver truly personalised care
- Lead and support the care team in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support
- Identify and follow the correct referral pathways for safeguarding adults and abuse, ensuring concerns are escalated promptly and appropriately
- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with CQC standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Support staff supervision, development and performance management
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of individual care plans
- Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for the running of the service
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect and independence for all residents
