As a Healthcare Assistant in Radiology at our hospital, you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
The MRI scanning department at Nuffield Tunbridge Wells is a unique, interesting and challenging environment which patients can often find daunting. Our small but friendly department takes great pride in making our patients' experience a safe, calm and positive one.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Radiology, you will:

Safety questioning and changing patients prior to their MRI scans

Cleaning and preparing the room (will involve some lifting and transferring of equipment)

Positioning patients on the MRI scanner

Booking appointments

Answering phone calls
Please note that prior to interview, all applicants for this role will be required to undergo safety screening to ensure they are safe to enter the magnetic field.
