These flexible Maths Teacher opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. This Class Act role offers the chance to work on a supply basis across multiple schools, providing flexibility while allowing Maths Teachers to maintain continuity in their teaching career.

Duties as Maths Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt teaching to suit different age groups, abilities, and school environments
  • Support pupils in developing confidence and strong mathematical understanding
  • Maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
  • Assess learning during lessons and provide constructive feedback
  • Follow school policies and expectations while on placement
  • Work professionally with staff and pupils across a range of settings

Ideal Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths at primary or secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths education
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new classrooms and teaching environments
  • Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
