Food Service Assistant
East Belfast, BT3 - Permanent - Part time (24h per week)

What you'll do:
- Support the preparation and presentation of food to company and food safety standards (including HACCP)
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a welcoming environment
- Operate tills and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness across all areas, including dining spaces, equipment, and kitchen surfaces
- Set up, restock, and monitor food service counters and condiments
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, COSHH, and site-specific procedures
- Monitor and record temperatures of food storage and service equipment
- Report any issues such as hazards, faulty equipment, or incidents promptly
What you'll bring:
- A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Awareness of hygiene, safety, and compliance standards in a catering environment
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured, standards-driven setting
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to support different tasks and respond to team needs
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is desired
