Summary
The Governors of Newport High School are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and resilient Pastoral Support Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for an exceptional individual to provide high-quality pastoral care, managing the academic and social progress of students. • Providing support to staff on student pastoral issues. promoting positive student behaviour and wellbeing including providing specific intervention for behaviour support and communicating this support with relevant stakeholders.
• Joining Student support meetings to share relevant information where appropriate. To action any interventions requested at the students support meetings.
• Ensuring attendance registers are up to date and the attendance policy is followed for absent/missing students.
• Completing student voice for the appropriate year groups supported. Collating and reporting the student voice to the line manager and other relevant colleagues.Closing date: Sunday 10/05 midnightShortlisting date: Tuesday 12/05Interview date: Tuesday 19/05 (timings to be confirmed)
