Salary: Grade 3 SCP 4-6 (£25,185 - £25,989) FTE Pro Rata
35 hours per week (split shift of 6.00am-9.30am and 2.30pm-6.00pm), 52 weeks a year

The Headteacher and Governing Body of this inclusive, nurturing and successful Primary School are seeking to appoint an Estates Officer to take responsibility for the school site.
Our recent Estyn inspection report said “Willowbrook Primary School is a friendly and inclusive school where pupils feel safe, and ready to learn each day. Staff work in close partnership with pupils and families to create a positive learning environment.” (Estyn January 2026)
Willowbrook Primary School is a large two-form entry school, serving the residential area of St Mellons, Cardiff. Approximately 422 pupils are on roll including 64 part-time Nursery pupils.
We are looking for a caring, well-motivated and friendly person who aligns with our school’s vision and values and who:
• takes responsibility for the management of the school site and associated facilities
• manages external contractors working on site
• ensures the security of the school site
• undertakes maintenance of the school site
• participates in health and safety activities

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement wef 1st April 2026 which brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour (scp 3 - 5). This supplement will be reviewed thereafter annually in April.  Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
