Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Refuse Loaders for a client based in Swansea. This is a physically active, outdoor role offering ongoing work, immediate starts, and the opportunity to join a supportive team.

Key Duties
  • Load refuse and recycling materials onto collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Collect bins, bags, and recycling containers along designated routes.
  • Assist with sorting and handling recyclable materials where required.
  • Support drivers and crew members to complete daily collection rounds on time.
  • Carry out manual handling and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
