About the roleWe’re looking for an experienced Brand and Marketing Manager to join Wellocks on a Maternity Cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of our brand, lead multi‑channel marketing activity, and work closely with internal teams, suppliers and partners to bring our brand to life.
Reporting to the Chef Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our marketing strategy, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and using customer insight to drive innovation, NPD and growth.
What you will do:
Brand, Marketing & Partnerships
• Lead the planning and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Act as brand gatekeeper, ensuring consistent tone, messaging and visual identity
• Manage key partnerships including Roux Scholarship, Springboard FutureChef, UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year, Northcote Obsession and charity partnerships
• Manage supplier relationships to deliver compelling seasonal campaigns, brochures and content
• Own internal communications, sharing market updates, supplier stories and seasonal highlights
• Oversee customer events that connect customers and suppliers, driving engagement, awareness and sales
• Maximise the impact of the Chef Ordering System (COS) through:
• Ownership of website and COS content
• Oversight of product photography and descriptions
Innovation & NPD
• Develop and manage the NPD and brand process alongside Purchasing, Trading and Sales
• Review and refresh own‑brand packaging where applicable
• Create clear, engaging launch strategies
• Use customer insight to define innovation pillars and the NPD pipeline
Insight & analytics
• Analyse customer data, competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities
• Deliver insight‑led reporting across multiple platforms to inform future campaigns
Internal collaboration
• Support senior leaders with presentations, publications and special projects
• Manage and track the marketing budget
• Present ideas, plans and performance updates to senior stakeholders
What you will need:
• Proven experience in a brand or marketing management role (FMCG experience desirable)
• Strong understanding of multi‑channel marketing and digital platforms
• Confident working with social media and brand‑building activity
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data and insight
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing systems
