Summary
To co-operate in the provision of patient focused pharmaceutical care with the emphasis on the technical aspects of ordering, dispensing, issuing, distribution and stock control of medicines and to gain practical experience in such under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. To undertake a two-year training course for pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians to train in all these aspects and to complete all assignments and educational tasks to satisfy the requirements for the Pharmacy L3 Integrated Apprenticeship. To co-operate with all pharmacy staff in providing and developing an efficient and comprehensive pharmaceutical service under the direction of senior pharmacy management for all patients treated by the Trust.
