Summary

Job Title: FLT Goods In Driver

Location: Birstall / Batley
Pay Rate: Starting from £14.14 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Goods In Driver to join a well-established, global manufacturing and distribution business based in the Birstall/Batley area. Our client is a market leader within their sector, supplying high-quality products across multiple industries, and offers a clean, organised, and safety-focused working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently

  • Managing all goods-in activities, including unloading and booking in deliveries

  • Using hand scanners and radios for stock control and communication

  • Accurately recording stock movements and maintaining inventory systems

  • Working in line with strict health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential)

  • Previous Goods In / warehouse experience

  • Strong English communication skills (essential due to use of radios and scanners)

  • Willingness to complete both FLT theory and practical assessments

  • Good understanding of health and safety practices

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Working Hours:

  • Rotating shifts:

    • 05:50am - 2:00pm

    • 1:50pm - 10:00pm

  • After 12 weeks, the role moves onto annualised hours, with a guaranteed day rate

  • Requirement to work 7 Saturdays per year due to the day rate structure
