We are seeking an Electrician to work under the supervision of qualified Electricians and Supervisors, contributing to the delivery of electrical and building services engineering maintenance across client properties.​

The role involves supporting fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation activities on client sites while maintaining high service standards.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong focus on customer service and compliance, supporting the delivery of a world-class building services maintenance service.​

The Electrician will play a key role in meeting contractual requirements, health and safety standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Support qualified Electricians with electrical fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works on client sites.

Carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works issued via the helpdesk within agreed timeframes.

Assist with other building services maintenance tasks, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical-related activities.

Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring contractor performance and workmanship to required standards.

Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and complies with company standards.

Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in line with agreed quality and safety requirements.

Liaise proactively with clients, addressing concerns or escalating issues to management as required.

Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time, ensuring records and documentation are properly maintained.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold one or more of the following electrical qualifications:

City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Parts 1 & 2
City & Guilds 2230 Parts 1 & 2
City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2
City & Guilds 2356 NVQ Level 2

Experience and Skills:

Experience working effectively as part of a team.

Proven problem-solving ability.

IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing.

Experience delivering reactive and PPM maintenance within commercial properties or FM environments.

Experience working under strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and COSHH compliance.
