Summary
We are seeking a 3.5t Trainee HGV Driver with removals experience that is looking for the next stage in their career within removals to become an HGV Driver with AGM Bishops in Aylesbury.
Following a successful probation period, you will undergo training at our chosen test centre to become our next HGV Driver.
Key Responsibilities:
• Packing and wrapping customer goods before manually and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into location
• Completing the necessary on the job paperwork to a high standard
• Undertake daily vehicle and safety checks, routine maintenance (e.g. oil and water checks) and report any defects.
• Providing assistance in the moving and handling of customer goods, including driving to and from location (long and short distances) across the UK
• Willing to do nights away, some Saturdays as required and flexible with hours.
• Any other duties as may be requested by Management
Essential
• Previous experience in a removal environment
• Full UK drivers’ licence (no more than 6 points)
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills
• Experience in driving vans / 3.5T
