About the Role

The Technical Department has a part-time vacancy on the Day Shift for a Hygiene Operative.

Working within a small team you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the site facilities during factory operating hours, ensuring a tidy and presentable environment for staff and visitors.

General Responsibilities

• Hygienically cleaning staff facilities, including toilets, canteen and rest rooms, corridors, locker areas etc..
• Cleaning and disinfecting staff changing areas for production.
• General Cleaning of offices and meeting rooms.
• External Housekeeping, including cleaning litter from the smoking shed, paths and external areas.
• Disposing of rubbish into the correct external waste bins.
• Laundering, folding and bagging factory PPE required for production.
• Replenishing toiletry and factory consumables e.g. soap, sanitiser, toilet rolls, paper towel, mob caps, gloves etc..
• Assisting the site with deliveries and fetching small factory equipment items.

About You

You will possess good physical fitness as the role will involve physical work including bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

You will be reliable, friendly, hardworking, and have a “can do” attitude to all tasks.

You will have outstanding attention to detail and deliver high standards of cleaning at all times and be driven to complete all daily tasks in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications You Have

• Excellent communication skills,
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and to conflicting demands
of the site.

Working Hours

• 4 Days per week, 34 Hours a week.
• Thursday to Sunday.
• 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Rate of Pay

• £ 12.71 per hour
