Summary
A new and exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about nature and well-being to develop recently established, Whinney Hill Farm CIC.
Whinney is Farm CIC is based on a 180 acre site of woodland and open space just outside of Halton (Lancaster) with the purpose of providing a ‘Green Space for Everyone’. We are seeking a Development Officer, to drive the growth of the CIC and develop a strategy that encourages greater use of the farm by local community groups and members of the public, to ensure sustainability for the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience working in the outdoors, education or well-being sector and has a ‘can do’ attitude. The role will combine strategic development along with planning and delivering suitable outdoor activities. A varied role, allowing someone the chance to put their passion into action by helping others enjoy the outdoors and the benefits that come with it.
This role is part-time 2 days a week, initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity for the role to expand dependent on success.
