Summary
Senior Nursery Practitioner
We’re supporting a wonderful private nursery that’s dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care.
As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll work closely with your Room Lead and the Nursery Manager to help oversee the daily running of your room. You’ll plan engaging, child-led activities, support the team with clear direction and encouragement, and ensure every child’s needs are met in a safe, happy and stimulating environment.
You’ll be a role model for best practice—balancing care, creativity, and professionalism—and helping to mentor junior colleagues as part of a strong and passionate early years team.
Requirements
Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
At least 3 years’ experience post-qualification
Confident in supporting and motivating a small team
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS requirements
Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain)
