Summary
This job description is not exhaustive and may be reviewed periodically in consultation with the post holder. To assume responsibility for the daily maintenance duties in the examination rooms, ensuring all daily checks are completed correctly and in a timely manner. To help and assist in as many ways as possible to ensure the patient has an efficient yet sympathetic examination. To assist clinical staff with patient care duties. To take responsibility for actions whilst working alone. To integrate effectively into the team. To be responsible with medical equipment and be able to report faults efficiently and in a timely manner. To maintain elements of statutory training and adhere to COSHH regulations as required. To maintain a high standard of record keeping, both manually and electronically. To communicate with patients in a sympathetic and understanding manner. To liaise with wards and other departments in the hospital in a professional way. To maintain patient confidentiality at all times. To undertake any responsibilities which may arise in the interest of running a safe, efficient and effective service
