Summary
The Salford Children's Speech and Language Therapy team is looking for an existing member of staff who would like to increase their hours.
This work will involve working with parents/carers, early years' practitioners and teaching staff to promote communication development and help children to reach their potential. This work will be carried out under the direction of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
Experience of working with children and as part of a team is essential. A sound knowledge of language and communication development is required. As a confident communicator, you will also have good time management and organisational skills. You must have either NVQ Level III in Child or Health Care and relevant experience (2/3 years) or NNEB (or equivalent qualification). You must be able to travel to different sites.
To contribute to the shared delivery of the Speech & Language Therapy Service in Salford under the guidance and supervision of qualified Speech & Language Therapists.
