Summary

Salary - £25,005 - £25,470 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, £13.45 - £13.70 per hour)

Hours - Part-time (9.5 - 20 hours per week)

Contract - Permanent and seasonal

Do you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment? We are looking for friendly, positive, and vibrant multitaskers to join our Sports and Leisure Attendant teams.



What You’ll Do:

- Deliver great customer service as a first point of contact, ensuring customers’ needs are met.

- Prepare our venues by setting up and taking down equipment, providing customers with a clean, safe, welcoming environment that is ready to use.

- Keep everything clean, tidy, and presentable, including litter picking, cleaning toilets, changing rooms and windows.

- Work closely with colleagues to ensure bookings are managed efficiently and effectively in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.



What You’ll Bring:

- Positive, enthusiastic approach with experience in a customer‑facing role.

- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to listen and adapt your approach to different customers.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy, fast‑paced environment.

- The ability to follow procedures, work with basic numerical information and complete simple records or reports accurately.

- Basic IT skills, including confidence using systems such as MS Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.

Sports Attendant roles:
1. Craigmount High School - Permanent - 16.5 hours per week
Shifts: Tuesday & Thursday 17:15 - 22:00, Saturday & Sunday 08:30 - 13:00

2. Royal High School - Permanent - 14.25 hours per week
Shifts: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 17:15 - 22:00

3. Broughton High School - Permanent - 14.25 hours per week
Shifts: Tuesday & Thursday 17:15 - 22:00, Sunday 08:30-17:00

4. Liberton High School - Permanent - 11.25 hours per week
Shifts: Thursday 17:15-22:00 & Saturday 08:30 - 15:30

5. Liberton High School - Permanent - 9.5 hours per week
Shifts: Tuesday & Wednesday 17:15 - 22:00


Leisure Attendant roles:
1. Craiglockhart Leisure Centre - Seasonal (June to September) - 20 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, mix of early and back shifts (earliest start 6:15, latest finish 21:15)

2. Tumbles at Portobello - Permanent - 15 hours per week
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday - week 1: 08:30 - 16:30 / week 2: 11:15 - 19:15



Interviews will be held at Meadowbank Sports Centre on Tuesday, 19th of May 2026. Due to limited spaces available on the day, we will contact successful candidates to reserve a time slot.
