Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist ready to step into a leadership role within a specialist SEN environment?

Do you want to shape and lead a therapy provision that genuinely transforms outcomes for children and young people with complex needs?

A well-established specialist SEN school in West London is seeking a Therapy Lead to oversee and develop its multidisciplinary therapy provision.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive setting with a strong reputation for delivering holistic, child-centred education and therapy.

The Role

You will take responsibility for therapy services across the school, working closely with senior leadership to deliver a joined-up, multidisciplinary approach.

You will lead a team of therapists and support staff, ensuring high-quality interventions that support pupils with autism, communication needs, sensory processing difficulties and complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the therapy team (SaLT and/or OT)
  • Oversee assessments, intervention planning and delivery
  • Ensure provision aligns with EHCP outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with SLT, teaching staff and external agencies
  • Embed best practice and consistent therapeutic approaches
  • Monitor quality, impact and compliance
  • Support strategic development of SEN provision

    Requirements

    • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy
    • HCPC registered (essential)
    • Experience within SEN settings (autism, complex needs, SEMH)
    • Experience leading or supervising staff
    • Strong understanding of EHCP processes and MDT working
    • Full UK Right to Work
