Summary
Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale on a 1-year maternity cover contract.
This role is ideal for a committed educator who can quickly build strong relationships, maintain continuity in learning, and inspire pupils to achieve their best.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with school expectations
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Uphold school values and contribute to the wider school community
We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, proactive approach and ability to hit the ground running
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2024) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
