We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in South East London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and making a real impact in a structured, supportive environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with SEN to achieve both academically and socially
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, SEMH, complex needs)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
