Summary
Ladybird Nursery are looking for a enthusiastic, approachable, experienced team leader for our toddler room.
If successful you will be responsible for leading a small team and supporting our nursery manager and friendly hard working team.
This includes Staff management, health and safety, effective communication, and staff involvement, implementation and of the Early Years Foundation Stage, coordinating the team and nursery activities in order to offer a high level of childcare in a safe stimulating and caring environment.

Manage a designated Ladybird area and being accountable for the day to day running of the curriculum and developmental activities.
Responsible for the planning and co-ordination of the curriculum framework in order to promote the development of the children within our care.
Working with designated team members in order to achieve a high level of childcare by being responsible for the planning and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Provide an environment that offers support and praise for every child
Develop relationships with the children, their parents and members of the nursery team.
Create and maintain a safe, warm, caring and stimulating environment that together with encouragement will ensure the development of each child.
Implement and promote all Trust and Nursery Policies, for example: Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and the Children Act 1989 and 2004 (revised).
Open and close the nursery liaising with the Nurse Bank team if and when necessary.
Support all Nursery coordinators e.g., Special Needs, Equal Opportunities, Child Protection and Health and Safety.
Recognise and meet the needs of each child, and their family, as individuals.
Assist in the selection and maintenance of toys and equipment.
Provide healthy and nutritious snacks throughout the nursery day.
Implement the EYFS and other childcare and government initiatives.
