Summary
Clinical Duties General and specialist outpatient rheumatology clinics Urgent access clinics and triage of referrals during designated Consultant of the Week periods Inpatient consultations and advice for general medical wards Ongoing followup of patients initiated on biologic or infusion therapies Participation in joint and MDT clinics Supporting Professional Activities (SPA) Teaching and supervision of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees Audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance Research activity and participation in NIHR and noncommercial studies Appraisal, CPD, and professional development OnCall and OutofHours Requirements There isno routine outofhours or weekend oncall commitmentfor this post. Administrative and Leadership Duties Participation in departmental and directorate meetings Contribution to service planning and development Support for governance, audit, and clinical leadership activities as agreed in the job plan Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Work Active participation in MDT discussions and collaborative working with nursing, AHP, and medical colleagues across specialties.
