Summary
As the public face of Corfe Castle, you’ll provide a warm friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. Along with assisting the team in meeting recruitment targets for membership to the National Trust and Gift Aid on Entry income budgets.
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Contract: Fixed term contract until 04-Oct-2026
Hours/ working pattern: Seasonal, flexible, weekends. This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.
Interview date: Tuesday 19th May 2026
Start date: first week of June (flexible to accommodate notice periods)

What you'll be doing
You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor. Whether you’re based in our Ticket Office or at the Welcome Centre, you’ll be the friendly face answering questions, understanding what people need, and helping them get the most out of their day.
Your focus is simple: making sure every visitor leaves with great memories.
This position involves actively promoting and recruiting new National Trust members, sharing the benefits with enthusiasm and confidence to our supporters who visit Corfe Castle.
