I’m a 55-year-old woman with MS and complex needs. I'm looking for a fourth PA to join my team of superheroes.
You will ideally have experience of moving and handling, personal care, and preferably be a driver, but non drivers will be considered - I live within 10 minutes walk of Brighton station.
The role is very diverse -personal care, housework, accompanying to appointments, social events, admin., assisting with exercise.
I enjoy gigs, the theatre, literature and swimming.
I’m looking for someone organised, reliable, happy to learn or have experience of complex care, and can work as part of a team.
Hours available 19 -30hr
THURSDAY, ALTERNATE SATURDAYS, SUNDAY 7-9 hrs per day.
WED - 2-3 hours dinner/bed.
18-21/30 hours
The hours are flexible to a degree and can be discussed.
This is an employed position (holiday pay, pension, sickness) and could fit in around any other PA commitments. Training can be provided.

- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Moving and handling
- Clinical tasks
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Looking after pets
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Minor catheter care and toilet assistance
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
