Our client, a highly reputable independent garage in Derby, is looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for skilled technicians who want to work remotely, enjoy a supportive environment, and enhance their career prospects.
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations, providing a professional and efficient service without the pressures of roadside callouts. You will work from pre-booked appointments, allowing for planned routes and a better work-life balance. Our client values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, and offers competitive rewards to their Mobile Vehicle Technicians.
Benefits:
- Basic salary of £40,170, with the option to increase to £44,385 through guaranteed overtime
- Realistic OTE of £52,000, including bonuses
- Overtime paid at time and a half, available up to 8pm
- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work (day off during the week if needed)
- 23 days holiday, rising to 25 with service, plus bank holidays

Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
- Carrying out mobile servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various light vehicles
- Travelling to customer homes or workplaces for scheduled appointments
- Working from pre-booked jobs with a time-efficient route planner
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship with excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Proven experience working on a variety of light vehicles
- Full UK driving license with fewer than 6 points
