OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST:
This is a senior leadership post within the academy, with strategic responsibility for Quality of Education across the school and leadership of the Primary phase.
The postholder will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment across the academy, ensuring consistently high standards and strong outcomes for all pupils.
In addition, they will have direct responsibility for the Primary phase, ensuring high-quality provision, strong progress and effective teaching.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader who can contribute effectively to whole-academy improvement.
Main Purpose: To lead and be accountable for Quality of Education across the academy, including curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment, while also providing direct leadership of the Primary phase.
