What skills and experience we're looking for

Experience of teaching Biology, Chemistry & Physics to the 11-16 age range, and working knowledge of the current Science curriculum. - Essential

Interest in and willingness to teach students in key stage 5 - Desirable

Involvement in the professional development of staff - Desirable

An outstanding classroom practitioner - Essential

Experience of producing examination results to a high standard - Essential

Degree or equivalent qualification and a teaching qualification - Essential

Up-to-date in-service training in subject and whole school issues - Essential

Additional qualifications relevant to the post - Desirable

Working knowledge of the National Curriculum, issues and developments - Essential

Highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Essential

Excellent administration, organisation and management skills - Essential

Excellent information and communication technology skills - Essential

A flexible and open-minded approach to learning and teaching with an understanding and proven practice of differentiation - Essential
