Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Harmans Water Primary School has a fantastic opportunity for someone aspiring to Senior Leadership, for an Assistant Headteacher post (full-time with 0.2 Teaching responsibility).

This role will be a fixed term contract as a maternity cover for a full academic year from September 2026.

We are currently looking for an exceptional Assistant Head Teacher to join our leadership team at Harmans Water Primary School. We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to develop as a Senior Leader and take the next step towards Headship. Working with other members of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be centrally involved in their development at the school, the quality of teaching and learning in Key Stage 2 and take part in raising standards across the school. Our ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher and a strategic leader with a resilient character and a strong personal drive.
