Summary

Our Retirement Living services offer a vibrant, supportive community where tenants can enjoy their independence, knowing care and support are there when needed. About the role This isnt a typical care role. As a Care & Support Worker, youll support tenants living in their own flatshelping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, youll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community. This role is based on an average of 37.5 hours per week, worked across a two-week rolling rota. Night shifts run from 9:00pm to 7:00am. The shift pattern is as follows: Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday There is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1974, for the postholder to be female. What youll be doing Supporting tenants with personal care and daily living Promoting independence, choice, and dignity Building trusted relationships with tenants and their families Supporting wellbeing through social activities and community engagement Working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support Keeping accurate records and using care planning systems What were looking for Caring, compassionate, and respectful A great communicator who enjoys building relationships Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable supporting people with different needs, including dementia Willing to learn and develop Experience in care is helpful but not essentialwe provide full training.
