Logistics Administrator – Temp to Perm OpportunityWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy warehouse operation supporting a major UK utilities network. This role plays a key part in maintaining a reliable, safe, and efficient supply chain across a large regional infrastructure.?? Location: Childerditch Industrial Park, CM13 3HD?? Contract: Temp to PermAbout the RoleThis warehouse operation primarily focuses on cable management, alongside handling a wide range of associated materials. The site also manages a fleet of vehicles including HGVs, flatbeds, and vans.As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse system processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and resolving discrepancies between warehouse management systems. You’ll support daily administrative tasks and help ensure customer requirements are consistently met.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately update and maintain SAP systemsInvestigate and resolve system issues and discrepanciesAlign Warehouse Management and Inventory Management systemsManage system interface failures and stock variationsMonitor and maintain SLA targets, including OTIF performanceProduce and maintain reports using ExcelMonitor transactions and identify input errorsSupport system testing processesCarry out general administrative duties including filing and document controlMaintain high standards of health, safety, and complianceRequirementsPrevious administration experience (warehouse environment desirable)Experience with SAP WMS/IM systems is highly desirable (training provided)Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and organisational abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesTeam player with a proactive and flexible approachWhat We’re Looking ForGood numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE level or equivalent)Strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to prioritise workloads effectivelyCommitment to health and safety standardsReliable with excellent timekeepingThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation with the potential to secure a permanent position.??
