Summary
Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Pay Rate:
- £14.94 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading incoming freight from containers and vehicles
- Picking and packing orders, ensuring goods are prepared securely for dispatch
- Checking deliveries for damages and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Organising stock within the warehouse, ensuring safe storage and efficient use of space
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety standards
- Completing relevant documentation and using scanners to track goods
Requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic IT literacy, including experience using handheld scanners (preferred)
- Forklift truck licence - counter balance
Shift Pattern:
- 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern
- Days: 06:00 - 18:00
- Nights: 18:00 - 06:00
Candidates will be required to go through the below before they start
Be willing to apply for a DBS Check (Paid for by us!)
Provide a PCC if you have not lived in the UK for 5 years
Have a 5 year checkable work history (Obtained for you by us!)
Be willing to attend an Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by us!)
