Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Nursing & Dementia Care | £23.00 per hour | Mixed Shifts | Permanent

Please note: This role requires post-registration experience. We are unable to consider applications from newly qualified nurses.

Our client is a specialist dementia care home set within a beautiful character property, surrounded by landscaped gardens. The home has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate all stages of dementia, creating a truly unique and considered environment where residents can feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

They are now looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their dedicated team. Whether you hold an RGN or RMN qualification, if you have a genuine passion for dementia care and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of older adults, we would love to hear from you.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN - RGN or RMN considered
  • Post-registration experience is essential - newly qualified nurses will not be considered for this role
  • Experience working with older adults, particularly those living with dementia - highly desirable
  • Previous experience within a care home setting
  • A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach to care
  • Strong clinical skills with excellent attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents living with dementia at all stages of the condition
  • Carry out and oversee comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional health needs
  • Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans in line with residents' needs and preferences
  • Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with NMC standards and home policies
  • Monitor residents' conditions closely and respond promptly to any changes in health or wellbeing
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, healthcare professionals and families to ensure a holistic and joined-up approach to care
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation at all times
  • Support and guide care staff on shift, promoting a culture of dignity, respect and compassionate care
