Summary

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified – Essential)


Early Years | Up to £30,400 | 40 hours per week | All Year Round | Permanent

They are now looking for a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team and play a key role in delivering the high standards of care and education that this nursery is known for.



What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above - this is essential and non-negotiable

  • Experience working within an early years or childcare setting

  • A solid working knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach

  • Strong observational and record-keeping skills

  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children

Key Responsibilities



  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

  • Act as a key person for an allocated group of children, building warm and trusting relationships

  • Observe, assess and document children's learning and development accurately and consistently

  • Support children's individual needs, interests and next steps through a tailored and thoughtful approach

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment

  • Communicate openly and positively with parents and families on a day-to-day basis

  • Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to uphold the nursery's high standards of care
