Summary
The key duties of the role are to: Support the Director of Finance in the delivery of the delivery of annual financial plans and their translation into agreed budgets across the organisation, in accordance with the Finance Regime and within the financial control total for the ICS. Effectively ensure the production of key statutory returns for the Trust in accordance with the national defined timescales. Report on the year-end forecast for the Trust, co-ordinating the divisional forecasts and reviewing overall risk including delivery of CIP. Jointly manage the financial management team, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are adhered to and quality standards are maintained. Provide comprehensive and high-quality financial planning support to enable robust modelling to take place for the Trusts short, medium and long term financial models, working in conjunction with other senior finance colleagues. Work closely with all levels of clinical and operational management, to maximise financial performance in order to support the delivery of high quality healthcare.
