Summary
As a trainee, you’ll usually:
Help with property inspections
Assist with property maintenance
Arrange and conduct viewings
Speak with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants
Learn how to negotiate deals
Assist with paperwork and contracts
Build local market knowledge (prices, areas, trends)
Skills you’ll need
You don’t usually need a degree, but employers look for:
Strong communication and people skills
Confidence and sales ability
Good organisation
Basic IT skills
A full driving licence
ARLA Training will be provided as part of your package.
Level 2 or 3 in Property Services
Courses from bodies like Propertymark or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
