Summary

Working with GPs, practitioners and the wider clinical team, you’ll help deliver safe, joined‑up urgent care that supports local people when they need it most.

You’ll be part of an integrated urgent care service where teamwork, clear communication and patient safety matter. Working under the direct supervision of registered clinicians, you’ll provide hands‑on support that helps patients receive timely, high‑quality care. This role is vital in helping clinicians focus on assessment and decision‑making, while you carry out agreed clinical and technical tasks within clear guidelines



What you’ll do:
• Support GPs, practitioners and other professionals in delivering urgent care
• Carry out clinical and technical tasks within agreed protocols and training
• Monitor patients and report observations, actions and outcomes to the clinical team
• Prepare equipment and clinical areas to support safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate records and follow infection prevention and safety standards
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in a healthcare or care setting, or strong transferable caring skills
• Ability to follow instructions, guidelines and clinical protocols carefully
• Good communication skills and confidence working as part of a team
• A calm, respectful approach when supporting patients in urgent situations
• Willingness to learn, with support and supervision from the clinical team
