Summary
To be a specialist therapist within the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT)teamproviding a comprehensive, specialist clinical service to all patients referred with communication and/or swallowing difficultiesbyUHSussexENT/OMFS orSLT teams for outpatient therapy at Princess RoyalHospital. The postholder willprovide specialistSaLTprovision(both inpatient and outpatient)for patients with Head and Neck cancer acrossall aspects of the patients pathway(surgical and oncological),attheRoyalSussexCounty Hospital. To be an active member of the SLT service and a specialist resource on swallowing and/or communication disorders in relation to the caseload including liaison with other SLTs and other professionals external to the serviceandin relation to specialist information,analysisand advice on continuing care. Tocomply withthe standards and priorities laid down by the SLT service and the Trust.
