Summary
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership to transform Health and Adult Services provider services in line with our five-year development plan HAS 2030. Ensure all services are safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led. Act as the CQC Nominated Individual, ensuring full compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations and standards. Lead, manage and support Service Managers and Provider Managers, holding them to account for quality and performance and igniting their passion to deliver essential, well respected services. Maintain robust governance, quality assurance and performance management frameworks. Ensure the safety of vulnerable adults in line with MultiAgency Safeguarding Adults Procedures. Manage a significant budget, ensuring financial stability, value for money and delivery of efficiencies. Provide system leadership through effective partnership working with NHS organisations, ICBs, council directorates and other key stakeholders. Lead on additional portfolios as agreed (currently including the operational leadership of the North Yorkshire Autism Strategy). Participate in the Adult Social Care Leadership Team on call rota and fulfil resilience and emergency planning responsibilities. About You You will be an experienced senior leader with a strong background in Adult Social Care or Health, ideally with experience of: Leading complex service transformation in a regulated environment Managing CQC registered services and engaging positively with regulators Strategic workforce leadership and culture change Financial management at a senior level Operating at pace in a challenging and evolving system You will need to be able to register with CQC as the Nominated Individual, travel across North Yorkshire, and work occasional evenings as required.
