Workplace Host - Guest & Community Experience
Love creating great experiences and making people feel welcome? This role might be for you.
Division: Signature Guest Services
Location: London
Hours: 40 hours per week, between 7:00am - 6:00pm
Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour
About the Role
At Signature, we don't just run workplaces, we create experiences that people remember. We promote the welcoming environment for people to connect.
Our Guest Experience & Community Hosts are Moment Makers. The people who bring energy to reception, turn everyday interactions into memorable moments and help create workplaces where employees and guests feel welcomed, supported and inspired.
This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you'll spend your day moving throughout the workplace - welcoming visitors, supporting events, engaging with employees and spotting opportunities to improve the experience.
You'll act as the eyes and ears of the workplace, helping ensure everything runs smoothly while creating a positive and welcoming environment for everyone on site.
At Signature, we believe in identifying friction before it becomes feedback.
Why This Role Matters
Workplaces are more than just buildings, they're places where people collaborate, connect and spend a significant part of their day.
The Guest Experience & Community Host plays a key role in shaping how that environment feels.
From the first welcome at reception to the small everyday interactions across the building, you'll help create a workplace that feels welcoming, seamless and engaging.
You'll also help spot opportunities to improve the environment, identifying issues or pain points before they impact employees or visitors.
Because great workplace experiences don't happen by accident, they happen when people care enough to notice the details and create moments that matter.
What You'll Be Doing
-Delivering an exceptional welcome - creating a warm, confident first impression for all employees, visitors and guests arriving on site, ensuring every interaction feels professional, friendly and personal.
-Managing the visitor journey - supporting visitor registration and check-in, helping guests navigate the workplace and ensuring every visit runs smoothly from arrival through to departure.
-Creating memorable everyday interactions - turning simple moments such as elevator journeys, workplace encounters and reception interactions into positive, engaging experiences.
-Supporting workplace events and activations - assisting with the setup, coordination and delivery of workplace events, helping create an engaging and vibrant community within the building.
-Bringing creativity to the workplace - contributing ideas, content and storytelling that help bring the workplace culture to life and create moments that employees remember.
-Acting as the eyes and ears of the workplace - proactively observing the environment to identify operational issues, service gaps or opportunities to improve the experience before they impact employees or guests.
-Proactively resolving or escalating issues - logging and escalating workplace issues through the appropriate systems to ensure they are resolved quickly and effectively.
-Supporting workplace operations and coordination - assisting with meeting room coordination, workplace administration and maintaining high presentation standards across guest-facing spaces.
