About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician (Agricultural Mechanic) to join our team.
This is a varied role combining workshop and field-based duties, where you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of machinery including tractors, construction equipment, and groundcare tools.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers, ensuring their equipment is reliable, efficient, and ready for the job.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Diagnosing and repairing faults across agricultural machinery
• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown repairs
• Completing pre-delivery inspections and machine setup
• Accurately completing job cards, timesheets, and relevant documentation
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices where appropriate
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Keeping up to date with new machinery and technology through training
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a mechanical or technician role (agriculture, construction or similar preferred)
• Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose faults and use technical manuals/software
• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and basic IT systems
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Flexible attitude to working hours, including occasional overtime
• NVQ/LTA qualification (or equivalent) desirable
