Summary

We are looking for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our amazing Early Years & Key Stage 1 team.

Southfields is an innovative, vibrant and welcoming school set in the heart of Coventry. The school was described as a ‘haven’ and rated ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted inspection (December 2022).

Who are we looking for?

If you are newly qualified / qualifying this year or are already an experienced teacher – you could be our next EYFS / KS1 teacher.

We are looking for individuals who relish the opportunity to develop their practice for the improvement of children’s outcomes.

We are looking for team players who will work within our existing fantastic team to collaborate on developing practice and provision.

Ideally, you will have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the delivery of phonics (we use Read Write Inc) and also of the Key Stage One curriculum.

You will have high expectations for achievement and behaviour for all children.

The start date for this post is September 2026.
