Summary
Care Assistant- We are looking to hire a Care Assistant for 36 hrs per week, experience preferred but not essential as full training can be given. Shift hours are 8am to 8 pm, applicants must be flexible and willing to work alternate weekends. Basic pay is national living wage. you will need to have an interest in Mental Health conditions and be passionate about giving good quality individual care to adults at risk. A large Victorian House, with many original features retained, offers residents a homely feel and many people comment about the warm and friendly atmosphere when they visit. Known affectionately as The Castle by the Sea, Miramar employs a small yet fantastic staff team who work together with residents, their families and friends and partner professionals to provide a calm, supportive environment and family atmosphere. It can be a very challenging job but it is very diverse – no two days are the same. Staff are very supportive of each other and we all help out where and when we can. We have one aim; to provide care and support to an individual so they can live the life they choose to the best of their ability and at the end of the day they can say they had a good day.
