Nursery Manager

Early Years | Up to £43,000 + Bonus Scheme | Full-time | All Year Round | Permanent

Our client is a thriving and well-regarded day nursery, part of a small group of settings with a reputation for excellence in early years care and education. They are now looking for a talented and ambitious Nursery Manager to take the helm and make a lasting impact.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or aboveessential
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager, ideally within a large or busy setting
  • Strong working knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation
  • A confident, hands-on leader who is capable of hitting the ground running
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • A genuine passion for early years education and childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a large, busy nursery setting
  • Lead, manage and inspire a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Drive and maintain outstanding Ofsted outcomes through strong leadership and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, EYFS requirements and safeguarding standards
  • Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management of staff
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, families and the wider community
  • Manage nursery budgets, occupancy levels and business performance in line with group targets
