Summary
The post holder will show commitment to the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service in helping to ensure that the best clinical care is delivered in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) setting. The post holder will contribute in the: Review of patients in all outpatient clinics, alongside the Consultant and MDT, including those patients seen on an ad hoc basis at short notice Daily review CF in-patients (when not seen on Consultant ward rounds). Requesting, reviewing and acting upon investigation results Compiling and insertion of patient data in local, regional and national CF databases Involvement in audit and research (including as part of the CF Clinical Trials Accelerator Programme) Planning (with Consultant and MDT support) elective patient admissions Dealing (with Consultant support) with medical queries from MDT members and patients Active participation in departmental meetings including the weekly MDM Participate in service development and improvement through commitment to clinical governance Comply with GMC guidance on Good Medical Practice
